The company Semkov – 2001 Ltd. was established in 2001 as a successor of a repair mechanical  and electrical repair workshop of the cement factory “Beli Izvor”, nowadays known as a Holcim Bulgaria AD. The company has started his work with contract with Holcim Bulgaria for repair work, spare parts production, maintenance and service of machines and equipment. Gradually, there are many new clients included in our client list, 

the type of spare parts we produced and the type of machines and equipment we maintained increased.

The company is currently operating in the following areas:

      • Maintenance, repair and reconfiguration of bridge-type cranes, portal cranes and tower cranes.

      • Service and repair of electric motors and transformators.

      • Service, spare parts production and repair of heavily loaded machinery for company in many different branches.

      • Production of wide range of metal containers for household and construction waste.

      • Manufacturing of different metal construction according to client’s documentation or customized according to client’s specifications.

      The availability of large specialized machines, universal machines and CNC machines enables company to undertake both single orders and serial production and to  perform almost all kinds of machining:

• Preparatory work of rod material on band-saw machines and hydraulic scissors;

• Preparatory work of sheet material on guillotine scissors up to 10 mm and 3150 mm length;

• Plasma CNC cutting of sheet material with sheet size up to 6000x2000 and thickness:

                        - up to 38 mm for black iron sheet;

                        - up to 20 mm  for stainless steel sheet;

                        - up to 25 mm for aluminum;

• CNC oxy-fuel cutting of sheet material with sheet size up to 6000x2000 mm and thickness up to 200 mm;

• Bending of sheet material on bending machine up to 12x3100 mm, on roll-bending machine up to 2000x20 mm;

• Press work on hydraulic machines and eccentric press machines;

• Robotic welding and plasma cutting, including part  positioner for processing of cylindrical parts up to 500 mm  diameter and up to 6000 mm length;

• Welding in protective environment - MIG / MAG and TIG welding;

• Blasting and painting;

• All types of mechanical processing on universal and digital programmable machines, including:

                       - Turning on carousel lathe up to 3200 mm diameter;

                       - Turning on universal lathe up to 630 mm  diameter above the support and up to  6000 mm distance between centers;

• Processing on  planer-type milling machine, width of the working table of 1600 mm and 4000 mm longitudinal stroke;

• Processing on boring machine, 1600x1400x1400 mm;

• Processing on CNC machining centers up to 1000x500x500 mm;

• Turning on CNC machines up to 340 mm diameter and 1200 mm length;

• Circular grinding of parts up to 315 mm diameter and 2000 mm length;

• Flat grinding of parts up to 2000x700 mm;

The company is ISO 9001: 2015 certified by SGS,  and possesses certificates of STATE AGENCY FOR METROLOGICAL AND TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE (SAMTS) for maintenance and repair of lifting equipment, Certificate from the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria.
